At Innovative Wraps, we not only specialise in exterior wraps but marine interior wraps that transform yacht interiors without the cost, downtime and complexity of traditional refits. One of our recent projects the 84ft motoryacht SALT is a perfect example of how strategic vinyl wrapping can modernise a vessel while maintaining a premium finish.
Located in Birchgrove, SALT is a luxury motor yacht fit for up to 49 guests over three levels designed for comfort and style. The brief for this project was to refresh key interior areas using high-quality materials that would elevate the overall look while standing up to harsh marine conditions.
SALT underwent a targeted yacht interior wrap upgrade, focusing on multiple zones throughout the vessel. Inside the wheelhouse, we supplied and installed a matte black vinyl wrap across the window surrounds and frames, covering approximately three metres. This finish not only creates a sharp, modern aesthetic but also reduces glare, an important functional benefit when navigating.

In the flybridge, the timber surfaces beneath the lounge were wrapped in a grey vinyl that was supplied onboard. This approach allowed us to refresh the space without removing or replacing existing materials, a key advantage of boat interior vinyl wrapping. The result is a cleaner, more contemporary look that also adds a layer of protection against wear, moisture, and UV exposure.
The most noticeable transformation took place in the accommodation areas. We supplied a textured white pearl vinyl (LX Benif SF011), selected by the project designer, and applied it to the vertical walls in the bedrooms. This included the front and rear walls of the master cabin as well as the front wall of the forward cabin. The finish introduces subtle texture and light reflection, giving the spaces a brighter, more refined feel similar to what you’d expect in a high-end hotel suite. This is where marine interior wrapping in Sydney really shines, offering a luxury result without invasive renovation work.
Projects like this highlight why more yacht owners are choosing marine interior wraps as a smarter alternative to traditional refurbishment. Instead of costly joinery replacement, wrapping allows you to completely change the look of your interior at a fraction of the cost. It’s also significantly faster, meaning less downtime for your vessel. Most importantly, the materials we use are designed specifically for marine environments, handling humidity, salt exposure and UV conditions with ease.
In addition to the SALT project, we also installed Paint Protection Film (PPF) on the lounge area of another vessel, the Empress. This included applying PPF to glass tables that needed refreshing and protection. PPF is an excellent solution for safeguarding high-impact surfaces from scratches and environmental damage, making it a valuable investment for preserving the long-term condition and value of any boat.
The transformation of SALT is a strong example of how yacht vinyl wrapping can deliver a modern, high-end finish while remaining practical and durable. From the sleek matte black wheelhouse details to the soft textured bedroom walls, every element was designed to enhance both aesthetics and functionality onboard.
If you’re considering upgrading your vessel, boat interior wraps in Sydney offer a flexible and cost-effective solution.
