INTRODUCTION TO MARINE BOAT WRAPS
EXTERIOR VINYL BOAT WRAPS - HULL AND SUPERSTRUCTURE (CABIN)
Often our customers use our vinyl hull wrap services to either
1. Give the boat a modern and "different" look with a classy colour suitable for a larger vessel that looks very much like a professional spray paint job, but has a couple of advantages.
2. Wrap over the top of a fading coloured gelcoat such as the dark navy blue, red, or cream/brown gelcoats that are were quite popular with some of the boat manufacturers and therefore their customers as they do look stunning new. Unfortunately in the Australian sun the surface gets oxidised quite quickly and become porous making it hard to keep them looking glossy and new with standard polish and wax methods.

Protection of surfaces so that the wrap can be removed in years to come having provided some protection to the underlying gelcoat or paint surface.

ARCHITECTURAL WRAPS - FOR INTERIOR DESIGN CHANGES AND UPDATES TO MARINE VESSELS AND BUILDINGS
This is a solution that is surprisingly popular and useful for many boat owners who choose to use our interior vinyl ranges to:

Give the inside of the vessel a facelift to perhaps replace old dark timber looks which make the inside of the boat look dark and small with lighter timber or other textures and colours to bring light and space into the interior

Cover up water staining marks in the veneer or timber interiors where a leak occurred and has since been fixed but the damage remains.

To transform a vessel where the clear coat on the surface of the timber veneer has gone milky in patches and degraded the look substantially. Wrapping with an architectural vinyl such as our interior LG ranged (www.uniquevinyl.com.au) or the 3M DiNoc range can be quick and cost-effective.

BOAT SIGNAGE - STAINLESS STEEL, LED LIT, AND VINYL GRAPHICS
Long term graphics in the marine environment require careful selection of the best vinyl and over-laminate materials coupled with the best printing technology. At Innovative Wraps, we generally use high-spec 3M print materials and laminates, as well as a cutting-edge Mimaki UV printer which allows for fast print production as the ink is quickly cured by UV lamps, as well as providing excellent resistance to fading over time. We also have full-width wide vinyl cutters for those large decals you may have seen us install on various race yachts and charter vessels around Sydney Harbour and the east coast of Australia.
