Originally, Mike from Mike Gaffikin Marine http://www.mgmarine.com.au/contact/) contacted Innovative Marine Coatings about a boat that was selling to a Queensland based buyer.
Mike conveyed that the new owner was keen on the boat, but was interested in wrapping the hull to hide the faded blue gelcoat on the hull.
IMC coordinated with the customer who chose the 3M marine vinyl colour, Gloss Charcoal Metallic G211 and the vinyl was ordered.
Thankfully, the excellent facilities at Empire Marina in Bobbin Head (https://www.empiremarinas.com.au) meant that the boat was placed in the shed, so despite the rain the weekend vinyl wrap could proceed.
The pictures speak for themselves, it looks new!

A larger-scale project with similar preparation and finishing requirements was the work carried out on Beluga, where the team completed a full hull wrap and applied a gloss coating system to the superstructure. The yacht was positioned in a suitable facility, which helped maintain the consistency of the finish.
