At iWraps, we’re proud to deliver precision paint protection solutions not only for vehicles, but also for high-end marine interiors. One of our recent projects showcases how XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF) can be used to protect and preserve luxury boat interiors under real-world conditions.

This project involved the interior protection of a 60ft Fleming motor yacht, completed at Kirribilli Marina ahead of the vessel’s departure for an upcoming boat show. With a tight deadline and multiple high-traffic surfaces to protect, the job required careful planning, accurate templating, and flawless execution.
Vessel Details
Boat Make / Type / Length: Fleming Motor Yacht – 60ft
Location: Kirribilli Marina
Material Used: XPEL Clear Paint Protection Film
Scope of Work
The objective was to protect key interior surfaces prone to wear, scratches, and staining particularly within the galley, saloon, and bridge areas. In total, 11 custom benchtops, vertical panels, stair capping, and perimeter edges were wrapped using clear PPF to maintain the yacht’s original finish while adding an invisible layer of protection.

Installation Approach
Due to the bespoke nature of marine interiors, all film was custom-cut on site using a cut table and rail ruler to ensure accuracy across varied shapes and tight clearances. The installation team used professional-grade PPF squeegees, application gel, and ISO cleaning solutions to achieve a flawless finish free of bubbles, lift or distortion.
Clear XPEL PPF was selected for its:
High clarity and gloss retention
Resistance to scratches and staining
Ease of cleaning and maintenance
Non-invasive, removable protection

The Result
The finished result delivers near-invisible protection that preserves the yacht’s luxury interior while significantly increasing durability in high-use areas. With the project completed, the vessel was fully prepared for its upcoming boat show appearance.
Why Marine Paint Protection Film Matters
Marine interiors are constantly exposed to movement, moisture, cleaning products, and everyday wear, especially in high-traffic areas such as galleys, saloons, and stairways. Paint Protection Film provides a virtually invisible barrier that preserves original finishes without altering the look or feel of the surface, helping to prevent scratches, staining, and premature wear. By reducing ongoing maintenance and protecting factory-quality finishes, PPF plays a key role in maintaining both the presentation and long-term value of luxury vessels.
