Inside the Transformation of Bella Vista | A Premium Marine Interior Wrap

Bella Vista’s interior had served a busy commercial charter environment for years, but its dark wood-look finishes were ready for a refresh. The brief was to refresh key areas of the vessel while preserving its existing character and original detailing.
The Innovative Wraps team transformed selected surfaces throughout Bella Vista, introducing fresh finishes that completely changed the feel of the space — without the need for a traditional refit.
From Dark & Dated to Light & Refined

The original interior featured dark timber finishes and traditional detailing, creating a heavier, more dated feel. The transformation introduced lighter tones and cleaner finishes, giving the space a brighter, more refined character.

A Strategic Interior Refresh — Without a Full Refit
Rather than replacing the existing joinery, the Bella Vista interior was refreshed by wrapping key surfaces throughout the vessel. The project focused on the main-floor bar area and surrounding wood-look veneer, with additional work across the downstairs bathroom cabinetry and partitions.
Using LX Hausys BENIF architectural film, the darker existing finishes were replaced with a lighter, more refined aesthetic — while retaining the vessel’s existing structure.

LX Hausys BENIF architectural film was selected to give Bella Vista’s existing surfaces a completely new character without the need to replace the underlying joinery.
Two finishes were used across the project — MLS03 throughout the interior and ML22 around the bar area — creating a cohesive palette while allowing the vessel’s original forms and detailing to remain.
Designed Around the Existing Interior
Bella Vista’s distinctive curves and detailed joinery played an important role in the finished design. Rather than competing with these features, the new finishes were selected to work naturally with the vessel’s character, bringing greater visual consistency across the interior.

Precision Installation Across Key Interior Areas
The transformation extended across several key areas of Bella Vista, from the main-floor bar and surrounding veneer to the downstairs bathroom cabinetry and partitions.
Working around the vessel’s existing forms, curves and detailing required careful preparation and precise installation to achieve a clean, consistent finish throughout the interior.

A Lighter, More Refined Interior

The result is an interior with a brighter, more cohesive feel, while still respecting Bella Vista’s original character. The new finishes work naturally with the vessel’s curves and contrasting details, bringing greater visual balance throughout.
A Modern New Chapter for Bella Vista
Bella Vista’s transformation shows how a carefully considered marine interior wrap can give an existing vessel an entirely new look without replacing its original joinery.
From the main-floor bar to the surrounding interior surfaces, the new finishes bring greater visual consistency throughout, while preserving the vessel’s original forms and distinctive character.
