A fresh look can make all the difference to a well-loved catamaran. For Zeppelin, a Seawind 1050 belonging to The Yacht Social Club, the goal was to refresh the exterior with a clean Gloss White vinyl wrap and custom boat name graphics.

Completed by Innovative Wraps at Shell Point Marina in Taren Point, Sydney, the project involved preparing and wrapping the exterior hulls, giving the vessel a refreshed appearance while preserving its original character.

From Worn Paint to a Fresh Start

Before the transformation could begin, the hulls needed some attention. Areas of flaking and deteriorating paint required careful sanding to prepare the surface for the new vinyl.

This preparation was an important step towards achieving a smooth, consistent finish, particularly across the catamaran’s curved surfaces.

Bringing the New Look to Life

With the hulls prepared, the next stage was bringing Zeppelin’s new look to life. The Gloss White marine vinyl was carefully applied to the exterior of both hulls, following the catamaran’s distinctive curves and existing lines.

Particular attention was given to the areas around the windows and rub strip, ensuring a clean, precise finish while respecting the vessel’s original design.This careful approach allowed the new wrap to enhance Zeppelin’s appearance without the need for a full repaint.
