RASCAL – Custom RGB LED Backlit Stainless Steel Boat Name

For RASCAL, the Innovative Wraps team created a custom mirror stainless steel boat name with RGB LED backlighting, combining a clean metallic finish with fully controllable illumination.
Measuring 2331mm wide by 300mm high, the design features a customised Pirulen font with distinctive pink dot details incorporated into the lettering — a subtle touch that gives RASCAL its own unmistakable character.
Designing the Details
The RASCAL design was carefully prepared to ensure the proportions, spacing and distinctive details translated cleanly into the finished stainless steel signage. The customised Pirulen lettering was paired with mirror stainless steel faces, with the signature pink dot details incorporated into the two “A” characters.
RGB LED Backlighting
The custom lettering was paired with a 24V RGB LED backlighting system, allowing the illumination to be adjusted across a range of colours. Before installation, the complete sign was tested to ensure consistent, even illumination across each letter while maintaining the clean appearance of the mirror stainless steel faces.
The Finished Result
Once complete, the RASCAL boat name was positioned on the yacht’s transom, where the mirror stainless steel finish creates a clean, refined look by day. When illuminated, the RGB LED backlighting transforms the signage, bringing the custom pink detailing and distinctive lettering to life.
