Premium gloss white marine vinyl was paired with clear protective film and 3M laminate to refresh the roof and aft sections, delivering a crisp, polished finish with added protection in high-wear areas.
A Refined Exterior Refresh for the Princess V48
The project focused on refreshing the roof and aft sections of WHY KNOT while preserving the clean, sophisticated character of the Princess V48. Gloss white marine vinyl was applied across the predominantly white areas, creating a smooth, polished finish that blends naturally with the yacht’s original styling.
Rather than dramatically changing the yacht’s appearance, the goal was to achieve a fresh, seamless finish while adding targeted protection to exterior areas exposed to everyday wear.

Gloss white marine vinyl was paired with carefully selected protective finishes to achieve a crisp, seamless look while adding durability where it matters most. Clear protective film was applied to high-wear areas exposed to mooring lines, helping preserve the underlying surfaces without changing the yacht’s refined appearance.
A 3M clear laminate was also applied over the white vinyl in key areas, providing an additional layer of protection while maintaining the smooth, high-gloss finish.
